As soon as you can fix the underlying issue or your home s power comes back on you will have to reset the door back to its automatic mode.

All electronic or automatic garage doors have a bypass that will allow you to open it manually.
The release cord is on the carriage connecting the door opener arm to the opener track.
When you pull down on the rope the carriage releases from the base and you can operate the door manually.
Locate the emergency cord on the overhead track of your garage door opener.
To manually open most garage doors you simply pull a corded handle that is attached to the door.
The emergency cord will release a lever that connects the door itself to the garage door opener track.
When you manually open your garage door it will remain in manual mode until you reengage the door opener.

Once the lever is disengaged you should be able to open.

Be sure the door is closed.
