Put key in ignition use dash control to un lock doors then take key out fob will un lock and look doors for about 4 to 5 times then stop working.
Key fob lock s doors then wont open doors.
Check your fuse box first to determine if a blown fuse is keeping the lock from working.
Because your mb receives the lock unlock signal via the antennas installed on your car a bad antenna module fuse can also cause mercedes key fob to stop working.
Spare key will not work at all only when interred in ignition will the spare key work for a few times then stop.
In that case you cant access the passenger door lock.
If just one lock won t open on your mercedes then the problem may rest with broken wiring a bad solenoid or perhaps with a blown fuse.
When you open the drivers door the computer doesn t to register it normally the dash would light up as soon as you open the door but this has also stopped.
